People often say who are the “sons of Adam and Eve?” But we should also include daughter’s in that. The most popular sons of Adam and Eve are Cain and Abel…
But the question is how does the bible say the world was populated? If it was just Cain and Abel how could they have given birth to children without female counterparts?
The answer to this is found in external scriptures, which fill the gap in this mystery. We have been taught that, there are now, only 66 books in the scriptures…
Before the Apocrypha was taken out of the bible…
We had the 1534 Luther’s Bible, Tyndale 1537 and 1611 King James Bible. They all included the Apocrypha Books.
What Is The Apocrypha?
Apocrypha means hidden books. These are 14 books, that were taken out of the originally translated bibles mentioned above.
The apocrypha, was taken out during the English Civil War. Their reason was they felt it was not of any spiritual authority. So it was considered not to be inspired by the Most High.
Before the Apocrypha’s exclusion it was used to get further background information and understandings of the Bible as a whole.
The question is, which is it? Are Apocrypha books useful or not? Well. I believe they are, why? Because they don’t contradict but enhance and give insight, as you’re about to find out as you read on…
The Apocrypha gives us the history between the book of Malachi and Matthew. Notably, the history of the Greeks and Romans, in particular are found in the book of Maccabees.
This gives us an understanding of what happened before the Messiah arrived in the land of Israel. Before the Romans conquered Israel.
This history also fulfills prophecy of the Greek and Roman kingdoms prophesied in the book of Daniel.
Above are the 14 Apocrypha books that were previously found in the bible.
Other Hidden Books
The scriptures themselves also tell us that there are other books, so it’s also important to mention that fact.
For instance we’re told that the book of Jasher (Yasher) exists, as well as the book of Enoch.
These are indicators that have been left. They let us know that there are other scriptures that we should be reading with the 66 books. Of course, as long as they are in compliance with the other scriptures.
We should also remind ourselves of what is written concerning studying scriptures…
We are told to study to show ourselves approved, without shame!
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Adam And Eve
Before we look at the sons of Adam and Eve, we should first look at Adam and Eve. Both created on the Fifth day. We will also look at how they were created to start the population of the world according to the bible…
Scriptures tell us that the Most High and Messiah said let “us” make man in our image after our likeness.
Genesis 1:23-27
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
This is when Adam and Eve were created, Adam first, from the dust or dirt of the ground.
Genesis 2:7
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
After Adam the Most High created Eve, to be Adams help meet (Wife)
Genesis 2:18
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:21-23
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Eve was created from the rib of Adam.
What Does Rib Mean In Hebrew?
The word for Rib in Hebrew is #6763 in the Hebrew concordance, which is
tsela
This means, side or side chamber.
In this context it’s making reference to one side of the Ribs in Adam. You can see an image of some ribs below.
Now let’s look at the sons of Adam and Eve. This answers that age old question. What came first the chicken or the egg? Answer is the chicken. Without the chicken the egg can’t be made.
The Son’s Of Adam And Eve
The first Sons that Adam and Eve had were Cain and Abel.
Genesis 4:1-2
1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
There was hatred between Cain and Abel, which resulted in the the death of Abel. The hatred was born out of Cains jealousy towards his younger brother Abel. Cain brought an unacceptable offering for the Most High, and Abel brought an offering which was accepted.
The First Book of Adam and Eve Chapter 77 (LXXVII): 1-8
1 But when Adam saw that the elder brother hated the younger, he endeavoured to soften their hearts, and said unto Cain, “Take, O my son, of the fruits of thy sowing, and make an offering unto God, that He may forgive thee thy wickedness and thy sin.”
2 He said also to Abel, “Take thou of thy sowing and make an offering and bring it to God, that He may forgive thy wickedness and thy sin.”
3 Then Abel hearkened unto his father’s voice, and took of his sowing, and made a good offering, and said to his father, Adam, “Come with me, to show me how to offer it up.”
4 And they went, Adam and Eve with him, and showed him how to offer up his gift upon the altar. Then after that, they stood up and prayed that God would accept Abel’s offering.
5 Then God looked upon Abel and accepted his offering. And God was more pleased with Abel than with his offering, because of his good heart and pure body. There was no trace of guile in him.
6 Then they came down from the altar, and went to the cave in which they dwelt. But Abel, by reason of his joy at having made his offering, repeated it three times a week, after the example of his father Adam.
7 But as to Cain, he took no pleasure in offering; but after much anger on his father’s part, he offered up his gift once; and when he did offer up, his eye was on the offering he made, and he took the smallest of his sheep for an offering, and his eye was again on it.
8 Therefore God did not accept his offering, because his heart was full of murderous thoughts.
Abel’s offering was the First of his flocks, which became an established commandment for Israel thereafter. More importantly Abel gave with a good heart and good intentions.
The first of his animal flock was the best of the flock he could find. The scriptures tell us that Cain brought an offering which was not his best. He also had an evil heart. This is important, because it’s noy just what we do, but our intentions behind what we do.
Cain then killed Abel because of his jealousy. Which meant Cain was the only son left of Adam and Eve.
The First Book of Adam and Eve Chapter 79 (LXXIX): 4-5
4 And Abel was walking in his innocence, without guile; not believing his brother would kill him.
5 Then Cain, when he came up to him, comforted him with his talk, walking a little behind him; then he hastened, and smote him with the staff, blow upon blow, until he was stunned,
As you can see Cain, made Abel feel like nothing was going to happen before he killed him.
The First Book of Adam and Eve Chapter 79 (LXXIX): 16-20
16 Then was God angry, and much displeased at Abel’s death; and He thundered from heaven, and lightnings went before Him, and the Word of the Lord God came from heaven to Cain, and said unto him, “Where is Abel thy brother?”
17 Then Cain answered with a proud heart and a gruff voice, “How, O God? am I my brother’s keeper?”
18 Then God said unto Cain, “Cursed be the earth that has drunk the blood of Abel thy brother; and thou, be thou trembling and shaking; and this will be a sign unto thee, that whosoever finds thee, shall kill thee.”
19 But Cain wept because God had said those words to him; and Cain said unto Him “O God, whosoever finds me shall kill me, and I shall be blotted out from the face of the earth.”
20 Then God said unto Cain, “Whosoever shall find thee shall not kill thee;” because before this, God had been saying to Cain, “I shall forego seven punishments on him who kills Cain.” For as to the word of God to Cain, “Where is thy brother?” God said it in mercy for him, to try and make him repent.
The Most High was angry with Cain, but still did not kill him because he wanted him to repent. This is inline with other scriptures that indicate, that people don’t die because they’re evil. It’s the Most High that chooses when we die, because he can raise us up when his kingdom comes on earth.
Later on Adam and Eve, give birth to Seth…
The question now is, how did Seth and Cain populate the world? Because in the Book of Genesis, there is no mention of Adam and Eve having any daughters.
Did Adam And Eve Have Daughters?
Without studying other scriptures, that are available, there can only be speculation about how the world was populated.
Some of the stories say that there were people known as Adamites. Who were in the world before the Adam and Eve story apparently.
This theory claims the Adam and Eve story is just a look at how man was created. But if this is true, there is still a question that needs to be answered… Without any sources of ancient information the Adamite theory is just that, a theory, open to personal speculation. So let’s answer the important question…
Did Adam and Eve have daughters?
The answer, is yes! Adam and Eve did have daughters.
Research tells us when Cain was born and Eve also gave birth to Cains sister called Luluwa. When Abel was born Eve again also gave birth to another duaghter called Aklia.
The First Book of Adam and Eve Chapter 74 (LXXIV): 5-7
5 And God looked at His maid-servant Eve, and delivered her, and she brought forth her first-born son, and with him a daughter.
6 Then Adam rejoiced at Eve’s deliverance, and also over the children she had borne him. And Adam ministered unto Eve in the cave, until the end of eight days; when they named the son Cain, and the daughter Luluwa.
7 The meaning of Cain is “hater,” because he hated his sister in their mother’s womb; ere they came out of it. Therefore did Adam name him Cain.
8 But Luluwa means “beautiful,” because she was more beautiful than her mother.
Here we see the birth of Cain and his sister Luluwa which means beautiful. Cain’s name means “hater”.
The First Book of Adam and Eve Chapter 75 (LXXV): 11
11 When the days of nursing the children were ended, Eve again conceived, and when her days were accomplished she brought forth another son and daughter; and they named the son Abel, and the daughter Aklia.
The only way to get this information is to read the Book of Adam and Eve and the Book of Jubilees.
This book gives us a more in-depth look at the life of Adam and Eve. It shows how sacrifice and offering began, as well as Adam and Eve’s battles with Satan the adversary.
It is in these books we find the names of Cain and Abel’s sisters. This immediately sheds light on how the world was populated in the Bible. With out this missing piece of information the repopulation of men can be left open to fanciful speculation, such as the Adamite theory.
The Son’s Of Adam And Eve Continued…
After Cain is sent away, because of his murder of his brother. Cain married his sister Lulwula and begins to populate the world, in the region that he is sent away to.
The same is true for Seth, who also marries his sister i.e. Abel’s twin sister Aklia and begins to populate the world.
If you’ve ever ask, in the Bible who was Adam and Eves youngest child? The answer is Seth. Adam was 800 years old when he had Seth and died at 930 years old. ##########
Cain’s Descendants
Cain lived in a land called Nod, which was east of the Garden of Eden.
He had a son called Enoch, who built cities named after his son Irad. Irad gave birth to Mehujael and he gave birth to Methuselah who gave birth to Lamech.
Lamech took two wives, Adah and Zillah. Adah gave birth to Jabal and Jubal, he was the first to make and live in tents (Genesis 4:20). He also was the first to have cattle. Jubal was the first to play stringed instruments (Genesis 4:21) (Harp and organ).
Zillah gave birth to a son Tubal-Cain and his sister Naamah, he was good with brass and Iron construction (Genesis 4:22).
Seth’s Descendants
Seth the youngest son of Adam and Eve gave birth to Enos, Enos gave birth to Cainan he gave birth to Mahalaleel. Mahalaleel gave birth to Jared, Jared to Enoch. Enoch was the author of the book of Enoch, mentioned in the Book of Jude. #########
He was taken up to the Most High (Genesis 5:22)…
His son was Methuselah who gave birth to Lamech, and Lamech gave birth to “the Noah”.
Scriptures tell us that from the lineage of Seth came Noah. It is him the Most High chose to preserve man when he was told to build a big boat (Noah’s the Ark).
Noah gave birth to Shem, Ham and Japheth. It is these 3 sons of Noah that make up the whole human race today. The children of Cain were all killed in the Flood that the Most High caused to come upon the world, due to mans sins.
Shem are the Arabs and Negroes
Ham are the Africans
Japheth are the European races
Each one of the sons, of Noah can be found in the Book of Genesis.
Genesis 10:1
1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
There is also evidence to prove each Nations origin, as stated above.
Conclusion
Hopefully, this article has shed some light on the mystery around how the world was populated. The Bible makes it very clear that there were relationships between brothers and sisters at the Beginning.
But this is not allowed now, these relations were only allowed in order to populate the world at that time. Scriptures give us directions and commands, on what unlawful relations are.
Here is a command concerning brothers and sisters, but you can also read the whole of Leviticus chapter 20.
Leviticus 20:17
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
So you can see here, that incest is out of the question according to the scriptures.
